Razor 01:41
It’s a burning wreck like I thought it would be Got a pocket full of razor blades Yeah it kicked my ass, it was something to see Got a bucket of mistakes I made And all my plans ended up in the trash Got a shovel, gonna dig my grave Draining all my blood and a river of cash Not the one that you should try to save Gonna take my rentacop uniform and my half-gallon supersize tub of scorn and my 12 gigabytes of Disney porn away… Breathe in, breathe out, lose your shit anyway Got a pocket full of razor blades Gonna smash my head for a hundred more days Got a bucket of mistakes I made Sing ha ha ha an example for all Got a shovel, gonna dig my grave But you know that you’re gonna be the next to fall Not the one that you should try to save

Who are you, where do you begin? Why are you cloaked in human skin? Some hidden flaw, some ancient gene gives me a blind spot where you’ve been We counteract with sound and voice, but it all gets received as noise So let’s just keep on droning on, pushing buttons, dropping bombs We gave the wheel to fate We’ll live on fumes and hate This naked ape can do no wrong This naked ape has got the bomb And ancient walls of skin and tongue, block every effort that’s begun Can’t see beyond my tribe and kin, or sex or church or need to win So when you tell me we are one You best believe I’ll get my gun We gave the wheel to fate We’ll live on fumes and hate

I see it before me from our glorious past A vision of order A world that could last You say it’s a dream That it lives in the air That may be, but we don’t care BRING IT ALL BACK AGAIN Happy land of peace, with everyone like me Why could it not continue? You say it’s just my face, but we all knew our place And mine was above you BRING IT ALL BACK AGAIN To keep my people free some things just had to be (free did not include you) A few bodies in heaps or hanging from the trees Thoughts I don’t let intrude

WE TAKE OUR DUES IN PAIN YOU PAY OUR DUES AGAIN A cure that’s unbidden promoted but hidden Bruised bones and a broken tooth A partial drowning of the truth A stressful position defining condition All’s black that’s in your sight but we all watch you every night WE TAKE OUR DUES IN PAIN YOU PAY OUR DUES AGAIN It’s outgroup suppression and sanctioned aggression Official terror that’s for the good Round the globe, in your neighborhood A hint of defiance will get pain compliance All recorded for the public show That’s entertainment! “Don’t taze me, bro!” WE TAKE OUR DUES IN PAIN YOU PAY OUR DUES AGAIN

Mexican cokes, Mexican cokes No retorno, it’s no joke In a bottle made of glass, touch mine and I’ll kick your ass

about

I see it before me,
from our glorious past.
A vision of order,
a world that could last.
You say it's a dream,
that it lives in the air.
Well, that may be,
but we
don't
care.

Fresh from years of slumber, the F.U.'s re-emerge with new, loud chunks of hardcore noise. Songs that warn of our new (and old) horrors...and that celebrate sugary soft drinks. The F.U.'s reformed in 2011 with most of their original members, and have been gigging steadily, working to support new recordings. Now they have a new 12" EP out, with six new songs and a cover of Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down. With great cover art from Daniel Irons! Watch out for the F.U.'s playing near you, and...go. Or call the cops or something. Whatever you want.

The F.U.’s, pioneers of hardcore punk, are one of the original early-80's Boston hardcore bands. F.U.’s put out several releases, including on DIY label XClaim!
